“Huntington’s: the last truly hidden disease.”
The Unlimited Capability of Every Human | Charles Sabine OBE | TEDxBath

Charles Sabine OBE was told by a neurologist in 2005, “There’s nothing you can do about this disease. Just live your life as well as you can.” The eighteen years that followed brought a series of revelations that have implications for all our evolution, as well as throwing light on the last truly hidden global community. His talk, encompassing aspects of genetic history never shared publicly, also describes how taking personal responsibility for even the most hopeless destiny can prove there is never an occasion when nothing can be done.

The Queen has been graciously pleased to give orders for the following promotions in, and appointments to, the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire: O.B.E. Charles Edward Sabine; Global Campaigner, Huntington’s Disease For Charitable and Voluntary Services.
"I pledge to use this honour to further my mission, encouraging ever greater numbers to join the global collaboration with researchers and scientists so we can enact a paradigm shift for all of us affected by Huntington's disease and to empower ourselves with the resolve that we should be 'Hidden No More’”.
Charles Sabine, January 1st 2022.
The Hidden No More Foundation’s mission is to empower and enable patients and families facing Huntington's disease, to step out of the shadows of shame, stigma and fear. Huntington's is often described as the “harshest affliction known to mankind,” but unlike other diseases, the daily suffering it inflicts, is uniquely compounded by the fact that the vast majority of those families carrying the HD gene, feel compelled to hide that reality.
Charles Sabine OBE, Emmy Award winning television journalist, worked for the US Network NBC News for twenty-six years before becoming a global spokesman for patients and families suffering degenerative brain diseases. He is active throughout advocacy and charity sectors across four continents and founder of the Hidden No More Foundation.
